I don’t have anything specific to report about the bite, but I figured I will update everyone on ice conditions. The rain did not do as much damage as I was expecting. I took a walk to the east of the shop and checked some holes. I did not find anything that less than 18″. Halfway Creek is currently running high, but it hasn’t eaten the ice back any further from what I can tell. Water clarity is an issue, but hopefully that settles down in the next few days.
The extended forecast looks good for the ice with temps dipping below freezing almost every night, and some days not getting above freezing.
